Don’t ask why Mauricio and Willian decided to leave their regular journalist lives in São Paulo to travel for one year and a half around Asia. Since one starts a trip like that, the answers become obvious. If they do not, the posts in this blog might help a bit. The fact is that they plan to cross the continent from India to Israel the long and hard way, passing through southeastern and northern countries and islands mostly by train and bus to collect stories and images –and to live the obvious and unusual experiences of the wanderer. Why 24tz? Simple – by the time they are back to Brazil (one day, they will…), they’ll have crossed all the 24 time zones of the globe after leaving Brazil from West and arriving from East

These two journalists met working in “Folha de S. Paulo” newspaper. During this travel, they are writing articles for various publications such as “Superinteressante”, “CartaCapital”, “Criativa” and “Vida Simples”.

Não pergunte por que Maurício e Willian decidiram deixar de lado a vida de jornalista em São Paulo para viajar por um ano e meio pela Ásia. As razões se tornam óbvias ao começar uma jornada dessas. E se não se tornarem, os posts desse blog devem dar uma boa noção. Eles decidiram atravessar o continente da Índia até Israel da forma mais longa e complicada, passando por países e ilhas do sudeste e do norte, na maior parte do tempo de ônibus e trem, para colecionar histórias e imagens – e viver as experiências óbvias ou inusitadas que surgirem pelo caminho. E por que 24tz? Ok, aqui vai um anglicismo – TZ é abreviação para fuso horário em inglês, e 24 serão todos os fusos que terão atravessado ao voltarem ao Brasil (o que não é difícil quando se parte ao oeste e se volta do leste )

Os dois trabalharam juntos no jornal “Folha de S. Paulo”, e, durante essa viagem, escrevem para revistas como “Superinteressante”, “CartaCapital”, “Criativa” e “Vida Simples”.
